Journaling Heals

I have become an official blogger! The very first day I found out I had breast cancer Rob suggested I start a BLOG to communicate with loved ones my thoughts. (I love my computer geek, great idea). Two weeks later after the chaos here I am with a PINK BLOG! I really wasn't into pink all that much until now. I kinda like it. This is more of a journal so it might gets lengthy! It will be a great healing tool and well, you get to sneak into my thoughts. Welcome to Shauna's day.
I'll start with, never in my right mind would I have ever have thought It would be ME! CANCER! I'm 35, don't drink, don't smoke, I detox my body 2 times a year by juice fasting, I meditate (sometimes he he), pray for my health, exercise and eat fairly healthy, I do breast exams once a week, and well dang! Im a nice girl. I had a sonogram in Salt Lake on my left breast where they found two beebe sized cysts. One and a half years later, SV St Lukes hospital found a tumor right above the cysts (Its feels so weird talking about my breasts, knowing others are reading this). How did they find it? When I first got to SV I looked for a physican to take care of me. Julie Watson, PA (earthly angel), stated, "Well 'they' say you should start getting your mamograms at 40, but I like to suggest earlier, besides your sister had cancer and well its just a good idea". Not thinking there was a great urgency I waited 7 months to schedule one knowing in the back of my mind it was a good idea. Was a good idea.

Yeah!!! Shauna's a blogger! I love it! Keep it up. I love keeping updated and hearing the little details! Works much better than repeating the same stuff over and over to curious listeners!!
